Job Overview

The Ministry of Planning, Development and Special Initiatives (Capacity Building and Institutional Strengthening) is seeking a qualified and experienced professional for the position of Quantity Engineer (PPS-10). This position is on a purely contract and merit basis under the project “Capacity Building and Institutional Strengthening of M/o PD&SI”.
The Ministry acts as a think tank for the Government, providing technical and professional inputs for socio-economic plans and policies.

Qualification and Eligibility Requirements

Candidates must possess one of the following educational qualifications:

• BE (Civil Engineering) having 16 years of field experience.
• Master (Civil Engineering) and related fields having 14 years of field experience.

Experience Required:
10 to 15 years of relevant experience in project appraisal, reviewing PC-I, quantity surveying, cost variations, cost estimation, contract administration, implementation support, monitoring, evaluation, and technical review of public sector development projects. Candidates should be willing to undertake any other assignments assigned by the Ministry from time to time.
