Job Overview

The Planning Commission, Ministry of Planning, Development & Special Initiatives (Capacity Building and Institutional Strengthening) is seeking applications for the position of Quantity Engineer (PPS-10). The ministry acts as an apex body and think tank for the Government of Pakistan in formulating socio-economic plans and policies. This position is offered on a purely contract and merit basis under the project "Capacity Building and Institutional Strengthening of M/o PD&SI".

Eligibility and Qualification Criteria

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess either a BE in Civil Engineering with 16 years of field experience or a Master's degree in Civil Engineering and related fields with 14 years of field experience. Additionally, applicants must have 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in project appraisal, reviewing PC-I, quantity surveying, cost variations, cost estimation, contract administration, implementation support, monitoring, evaluation, and technical review of public sector development projects. Candidates should also be willing to undertake any other assignments assigned by the Ministry from time to time.
