Director Operations & Implementation (BPS-19)

Project Overview

The Health Department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, invites online applications from eligible candidates domiciled in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa/Merged Districts for positions within the Project Management & Implementation Unit (PMIU). This unit oversees the Revamping of Non-Teaching DHQ Hospitals across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Posts are offered on a contract basis, initially for 1 year, extendable as per Govt. policy, under the Project Implementation Policy (PIP).

Role Description

The Director Operations & Implementation (BPS-19) will hold a senior leadership role within the PMIU, responsible for the overall operational management and successful implementation of the hospital revamping project across the province. This includes strategic planning, resource allocation, monitoring progress, and ensuring project goals are met.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: MBA/MS Project Management/Health/Health Administration/Health Management OR MBBS/BDS/Masters in Public Health/Health Administration/Health Management from any institution recognized by PMDC OR Doctorate/M.Phil in Public Health or Health Administration or Health Management or equivalent qualification from any recognized University.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in public/private sector management.
• Age Limit: Maximum up to 50 years.

Location Details

The position is based within the Project Management and Implementation Unit (PMIU), likely operating from a central location (e.g., Peshawar) with oversight across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Candidates must have a domicile of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa/Merged Districts.

Terms and Conditions

Appointment is purely on a contract basis for an initial period of 1 year, further extendable. This is a project post and will stand abolished automatically on completion of the project. A lump sum pay package will be offered as per Government Project Policy. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interviews. Age relaxation is admissible as per existing Govt. Rules. Female candidates are encouraged to apply.

How to Apply

1. Interested candidates must first visit www.etea.edu.pk and apply online.
2. Create a profile on the ETEA website. Before applying, print an E-Sahulat token from the ETEA website and verify your CNIC number through any NADRA E-Sahulat franchise (Kiosk). Without this verification, application is not possible.
3. After successful online application submission, a prescribed online deposit slip will be generated.
4. Take a printout of the generated deposit slip and deposit the prescribed test fee (non-refundable) through Easypaisa app, Jazz Cash App, or at any branch of UBL bank via UBL OMNI agent.
5. Keep the original deposit slip (candidate copy) having bank desired stamp with yourself and do not share it with anyone else.
6. DO NOT send documents/testimonials to the ETEA office at this stage. Copies will be required from candidates who qualify the screening test, as and when required by ETEA or the appointing authority.
7. Online application forms will be available from 23-04-2025.
8. The last date for submission of the online application is 09-05-2025.
9. Test date, time, and venue will be mentioned on Roll No. Slip available for download from www.etea.edu.pk. Candidates will also be informed through SMS.
10. Candidates are directed not to give ported/converted mobile number.
11. No separate call letter will be issued to candidates for the screening test through post/courier means.
