Project Overview

The Health Department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, is recruiting for its Project Management & Implementation Unit (PMIU) for the Revamping of Non-Teaching DHQ Hospitals project. Positions are offered on a 1-year contract basis (extendable) under the Project Implementation Policy (PIP).

Role Description

The Quality Assurance & Training Specialist (NPP - Negotiated Pay Package) will be responsible for developing and implementing quality assurance protocols and training programs related to the hospital revamping project. This includes setting standards, monitoring compliance, identifying training needs, and delivering or coordinating training sessions to ensure high-quality project outcomes and staff competency.

Qualifications and Experience

Education: MBBS/BDS/Masters in Public Health/Health Administration/Health Management from any institution recognized by PMDC OR Doctorate/M.Phil in Public Health or Health Administration or Health Management or equivalent qualification from any recognized University.
Certification Preference: Preference will be given to diplomate American Board of Quality (CHCQM)/CPHQ.
Experience: Minimum 3 years relevant experience in Public/Private Sector preferably development partner organizations.
Age Limit: Maximum up to 50 years.

Location Details

Position is within the PMIU, likely based centrally (e.g., Peshawar), serving DHQ Hospitals across KP. Domicile of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa/Merged Districts is required.

Terms and Conditions

Contract for 1 year initially, extendable. Project-based post. Lump sum pay package (NPP) as per Govt. Project Policy. Interviews for shortlisted candidates only. Age relaxation rules apply. Female candidates encouraged.
