Project Overview

The Health Department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, invites applications for its Project Management & Implementation Unit (PMIU) managing the Revamping of Non-Teaching DHQ Hospitals across KP. Positions are contract-based (1 year initially, extendable) under the Project Implementation Policy (PIP).

Role Description

The Environmental Safeguard Specialist (NPP - Negotiated Pay Package) will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and managing environmental risks and impacts associated with the hospital revamping projects. This includes ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, developing mitigation plans, and monitoring implementation.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: Master's degree in environmental sciences/environmental engineering.
• Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience after acquiring the required qualification in managing environmental and health and safety risks and impacts of projects.
• Preference: Given to candidates possessing other relevant educational qualifications and prior experience with foreign-funded projects.
• Age Limit: Maximum up to 50 years.

Location Details

The role is associated with the PMIU, likely based centrally (e.g., Peshawar) with travel across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as needed. Applicants must be domiciled in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa/Merged Districts.

Terms and Conditions

Appointment is purely contractual for 1 year initially, extendable. It's a project post, ending upon project completion. A lump sum pay package (NPP) per Government Project Policy applies. Only shortlisted candidates interviewed. Age relaxation as per rules. Female candidates encouraged.

3. Submit the online form to generate a deposit slip.
4. Pay the non-refundable test fee using the deposit slip via Easypaisa, Jazz Cash, or UBL OMNI.
5. Retain the original stamped deposit slip.
6. Do not send documents to ETEA initially; provide them if you qualify for the screening test.
7. Online applications open on 23-04-2025.
8. Deadline for online submission: 09-05-2025.
9. Test details (date, time, venue) will be on the Roll No. Slip available on the ETEA website and communicated via SMS.
10. Use a non-ported/non-converted mobile number.
11. No separate call letters for the test.
