VP/Dy. Head, Product & Research

Position Overview

An exciting opportunity exists for a VP/Dy. Head, Product & Research at The Punjab Provincial Cooperative Bank Ltd. (PPCBL), based in the Business Development Division in Lahore. This role will drive product development and market research to enhance the bank's offerings, particularly for Agri and SME sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and enhancement of Agri and SME lending products tailored to farmers and small businesses.
• Manage and optimize liability products such as current, savings, and term deposit accounts to drive deposit mobilization and customer retention.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to ensure product offerings remain relevant, competitive, and responsive to customer needs.
• Ensure all products comply with SBP regulations, including Agri Credit Scheme, SME Prudential Regulations, and deposit protection requirements.
• Analyze product and portfolio performance using data and KPIs, identifying improvement areas and proposing actionable strategies.
• Develop and update product-related documents, including policies, SOPs, and marketing content.
• Support capacity building through training programs for field and branch staff to ensure effective product knowledge and rollout.
• Prepare feasibility studies, pilot proposals, and business cases for new product ideas and present to management for review and approval.

Qualifications and Experience

• Qualification: MBA, MA Economics, M.Com, MCS, MIT, etc. (Relevant Master's degree).
• Experience: Minimum 08 years post qualification experience, with at least 03 years in a similar position in a bank or financial institution.
• Department: Business Development Division.
• Age Limit: 35-50 years.
