Role Overview

National Fertilizer Marketing Limited (NFML) is seeking an experienced Fertilizer Marketing Specialist to join a consultancy team. This team is tasked with drafting a new national fertilizer policy designed to address existing market challenges and promote fair practices. The role is offered on an intermittent, person-months basis and is crucial for incorporating marketing perspectives into the policy.

Key Responsibilities

The Fertilizer Marketing Specialist will be responsible for analyzing the fertilizer market, including value chains, pricing, and distribution. They will identify trends and provide strategic marketing insights to inform the development of the new policy. The aim is to ensure the policy supports the availability and supply of fertilizer at fair prices to agricultural producers.

Qualifications and Experience

The specialist should hold a degree in economics, business, and/or marketing. A minimum of 10 years of experience in fertilizer marketing in Pakistan is essential. Experience in fertilizer marketing elsewhere in the world would be a preferred additional qualification, providing a broader understanding of international market dynamics.
