Essential Qualification and Experience

Candidates for the Vice Chancellor position must possess a PhD from a Higher Education Commission (HEC) recognized University/Institution. A minimum of 20 years of experience in teaching, research, or administration is mandatory, with at least five (05) years served as a full professor in an HEC recognized University/Institution. Alternatively, an equivalent rank with professional experience in a national or international Research and Development organization is acceptable. Furthermore, demonstrated expertise in teaching, research, administration, and fund management is crucial. Applicants should also have leadership experience in a position such as Chairman, Principal, Director of an institute or center, or Dean, or an equivalent role.

Age Limit

Applicants must not be more than 65 years of age on the last date fixed for the submission of applications. This age limit is strictly enforced to ensure compliance with the criteria set for this esteemed leadership role.
