Job Responsibilities

The Manager (Lubricants) will be responsible for:

  • Preparing strategy to develop Lubricants Department into an independently functioning business unit.
  • Preparing a comprehensive plan to ascertain potential markets and devise tactical planning to penetrate High Street and Industrial segments.
  • Building market analysis for Lubricants Function.
  • Planning to develop distributors in major markets and strategize regular coordination/monitoring of business.
  • Launching strategy for Company's new products and prepare market segmentation.
  • Developing marketing strategy, marketing budget, and marketing activity calendar for the year.
  • Ensuring close coordination with Company's other functions related to lubricant sales.
  • Conducting market research to determine market requirements and competitors' information regarding Lubricants.
  • Possessing technical knowledge of Lubricants with their API applications.
  • Knowing technical aspects of Industrial and High Street Lubricants with its requirement to OEMs.

Desired Skills And Experience

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • A Master's degree in Business Studies or equivalent, or a Chemical Engineering degree from a recognized and chartered university from HEC.
  • A minimum of 10-15 years of work experience within the relevant industry, of which 3-5 years should be in a similar role.
  • A strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
  • The ability to work efficiently and effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
  • The ability to work successfully both independently and in a team setting.
  • Team leader with strong leadership abilities.
  • Sound business writing, communication, and presentation skills, along with analytical abilities.
