Unit Head - Career Management

Role Overview

National Bank of Pakistan invites applications for the position of Unit Head - Career Management (AVP / VP) stationed at Karachi. The candidate will report directly to the Wing Head - Career Management and will manage the organization's overall career development framework.

Educational Qualification

Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or international university, college, or institute recognized by HEC of Pakistan, preferably in HR. Candidates having a Master's degree and/or HR certifications, such as SAP, SHRM-CP / SCP, CHRP, etc., would be preferred.

Experience Required

Minimum 06 years of working experience in Human Resources, with at least 04 years in Talent Management and/or HR Relationship Management and/or Career Development and/or Employee Relations and/or HR Operations. Candidates having working experience in banking and/or large-scale organization would be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• To design, implement, and manage the organization's overall career development framework, including career pathing models, competency matrices etc.
• To develop and curate resources, tools, and content to support employee self-directed career management.
• To create and manage the governance for the internal promotion process, ensuring it is fair, transparent, and consistent across the organization.
• To establish and communicate clear guidelines and criteria for promotions.
• To partner with HR Business Partners, Learning & Development, and Talent Acquisition to ensure smooth execution and closure of Promotion Cycles.
