Job Overview

An opportunity exists for a System Administrator at the Home Department, Government of Punjab. This is a contract position with a market-based lump sum pay package. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting LAN/WAN, managing network infrastructure, and deploying data centers and networks in the public sector.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates applying for the System Administrator position must have:

• MCS or MIT or BCS or BS (Second Division) in Telecom System Engineering or Computer Engineering or Computer Science or Electrical Engineering from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission.
• Seven (07) years of post-qualification experience in troubleshooting LAN or WAN, including experience with handling routers, switches, firewalls, and Windows or Linux-based servers, as well as deployment of data centers and networks in the public sector.
• An Expert Level Certificate in system administration or network administration or cyber security from a recognized institute.

The age limit for this role is 30 to 40 years. Government policy allows for an age relaxation of up to 05 years. A valid domicile of Punjab Province is mandatory.
