Job Overview

CBD Punjab is hiring an Assistant Director Information Technology for our HR & IT department. We are looking for a tech-savvy professional with a strong background in computer sciences, ideally specializing in software engineering. The successful candidate will have a strong command over computer programming languages and well-rounded experience across software development, networking, and hardware systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Overseeing software development projects and ensuring timely delivery.
• Managing IT infrastructure, including networking and hardware systems.
• Providing technical support and troubleshooting for IT-related issues.
• Developing and implementing IT policies and procedures.
• Ensuring data security and integrity across all systems.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Sciences, preferably with a specialization in Software Engineering.
• Minimum Experience: 6 years in IT, covering software development, networking, and hardware.
• Required Skills: Expertise and strong command over computer programming languages, and a well-rounded experience across software development, networking, and hardware systems.

8. Candidate already serving in Govt/Semi Govt Departments shall apply through proper channel and submit NOC from their respective departments along with the application. Their selection will be done as per defined rules and regulations of CBDDA.
9. Age relaxation of up to five (05) years for upper age limit for Retired Government/Military personnel will be allowed as per Human Resource Regulations.
10. Minimum and Maximum age limit will be as per the Labor Laws and applicable Government Regulations.
11. Candidates with experience in relevant field will be considered.
