Job Overview

The Finance Department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, is looking for a dedicated Risk & Compliance Officer to join its Fund Support Unit (FSU) on a contract basis for one year. This role is essential for ensuring that all operations, particularly in investment management and corporate finance, adhere to established risk management frameworks and regulatory requirements. The officer will contribute to maintaining the integrity and compliance of financial activities.

Key Requirements and Qualifications

Prospective candidates for the Risk & Compliance Officer position must have a minimum of five (5) years of relevant professional experience. This experience should be specifically in areas such as investment management, corporate finance, capital markets, asset management, or within Non-Banking Financial Institutions. A demonstrable and verifiable track record of outstanding achievement, including successful team contributions, is required. Candidates must also possess a minimum of sixteen years of formal education from a reputable local or international institution in Economics, Finance, Accounting, and Commerce. Professional certifications such as CFA/FRM are considered a distinct advantage. Relevant experience from the public, private, or development sectors, or a combination thereof, is acceptable.
