Position Overview

Mehran University of Engineering and Technology (MUET), Jamshoro, invites applications from qualified candidates domiciled in the Province of Sindh for the recruitment of a Registrar. This is a senior management position in Basic Pay Scale (BPS) 20, offered on a three-year tenure basis. The Registrar plays a pivotal role in the administrative functions of the university, overseeing various key departments and ensuring the smooth implementation of university policies and procedures.

Application Process

The application process involves both online submission and submission of a hard copy. Follow these steps to apply:

• Candidates must fill out the prescribed online application form available at http://recruitment.muet.edu.pk.
• A non-refundable application processing fee of Rs. 5,000/- must be paid via an auto-generated challan. This can be deposited at the Habib Bank Limited (HBL), Mehran University Booth, Jamshoro, or any online branch of HBL.
• Submit the hard copy of the completed online application form along with the original bank challan.
• The hard copy application must be accompanied by attested copies of all relevant documents, including degrees/certificates from SSC onwards, CNIC, Domicile, valid PEC registration (if applicable), experience certificates, CV, and a Departmental No Objection Certificate (NOC) if applicable.
• The complete application package must be sent to the Directorate of Human Resources of the University on or before 02nd July, 2025.

Note: Candidates who have already applied for this position are not required to apply again. However, they should submit an application along with any additional documents if they have them. Incomplete applications or those received after the due date will not be entertained.
