Job Overview and Responsibilities

Elite Engineering (Pvt.)Ltd. is actively recruiting for the crucial role of Project Site Paramedic. This position is a full-time, project-site based opportunity located at the Wartsila Reko Diq Balochistan Project in Reko Diq, Balochistan, Pakistan. As a Project Site Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing immediate medical assistance to site personnel during injuries, illnesses, or emergencies. This includes administering wound care, burn treatment, and managing minor trauma. You will also be tasked with administering first aid, CPR, and advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS) procedures, ensuring the well-being of all project staff.

The role also encompasses comprehensive management of on-site medical facilities, equipment, and medicines. Accurate medical records, incident reports, and emergency response logs must be meticulously maintained. Regular health and safety awareness sessions for staff are to be conducted, alongside monitoring and managing onsite medical supplies to ensure readiness for any emergency. You will play a vital role in implementing occupational health and safety protocols and coordinating with local hospitals and emergency services for patient transfers when necessary. Furthermore, you will support the HSE and Admin teams in ensuring occupational health compliance and fostering a safe working environment at the project site.

Required Qualifications and Expertise

Candidates for the Project Site Paramedic position must possess a Diploma in Paramedical Sciences, Emergency Medical Technology, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution. A minimum of 8 to 10 years of relevant field experience is mandatory, with a preference for experience gained in industrial, construction, mining, or other remote site projects. Essential technical expertise includes strong knowledge of first aid, trauma care, and emergency medical procedures, along with familiarity with occupational health practices and workplace safety requirements.

Beyond technical skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills are vital for this role. The ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick, informed decisions is crucial. Physical fitness is a prerequisite, as the role requires working in remote, challenging site conditions.
