Job Overview

This full-time, project-site based position is located in Reko Diq, Balochistan, Pakistan, as part of the Wärtsilä Reko Diq Balochistan Project. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to manage and coordinate all aspects of construction equipment and tools, ensuring efficient operations and compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

As an Equipment Coordinator, your primary responsibilities will include:

Managing and tracking all construction equipment and tools throughout the project site.
Coordinating the mobilization and demobilization of equipment in line with project schedules.
Ensuring timely maintenance, servicing, and calibration of machinery and equipment.
Maintaining accurate equipment logs, usage records, and preventative maintenance schedules.
Collaborating effectively with procurement and logistics teams to arrange the timely supply of spare parts and consumables.
Monitoring equipment performance and reporting breakdowns or operational issues promptly.
Ensuring strict compliance with HSE policies in equipment handling and operations.
Assisting site management in optimizing equipment utilization to improve overall productivity.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Candidates for the Equipment Coordinator position should possess a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field. A minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in equipment coordination, fleet management, or plant & machinery operations is required, preferably within large-scale EPC, mining, or infrastructure projects. Essential technical expertise includes a strong understanding of heavy equipment operations, preventive maintenance, and safety requirements, along with familiarity with cranes, earth-moving machinery, concrete batching plants, generators, and related tools. Proficiency in MS Project, ERP systems, equipment tracking software, and reporting tools is also crucial. Beyond technical skills, we seek individuals with excellent communication and team leadership abilities, a detail-oriented and problem-solving mindset, and adaptability to challenging site conditions. Willingness to be based full-time in Reko Diq, Balochistan, is a must.
