Project Overview and Job Purpose

Punjab Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) is focused on delivering high-quality vocational training tailored to modern industrial needs. This Principal position is for a project titled “Readiness of Workforce for the Garments City Project, Government Technical Training Institute, Quaid-e-Azam Business Park (QABP), Sheikhupura”. The project aims to equip students with necessary skills and competencies for employability in industrial stitching units, thereby contributing to regional economic development. The selected Principal will lead this institute.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Education: BS in Textile Engineering (Specialization in Garments Manufacturing). The degree/certificate must be from an HEC recognized University/College/Institute.
• Experience: A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in the Garments Manufacturing field.

Job Details

• Number of Posts: 1
• District/Division: Punjab. Only residents of Punjab are eligible to apply.
• Mode of Employment: Contract Basis. Appointments will be made purely on a contractual basis, initially for one year, extendable on a yearly basis subject to satisfactory performance till the completion of the project.

Monthly Pay Package and Benefits

The selected candidate will receive a monthly pay package of PS-18 + 30% of Running Basic Pay as Social Security Benefit.
An incentive allowance at 20% of running basic pay will be applicable for the 2nd shift operations of the institute.

Age Limit and Gender

• Age: The applicant's age should not be less than 18 years and not more than 55 years at the closing date of the advertisement.
• Gender: Male and Female candidates are both eligible to apply for this post.
