Job Overview and Responsibilities
The Manager of IT Governance & Compliance at PPCBL is a key strategic role responsible for ensuring the bank's IT operations align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. This position involves developing, implementing, and monitoring IT governance frameworks, drawing upon established standards such as CОВIT, ITIL, and ISO/IEC 27001. The manager will define and maintain policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) across IT functions, emphasizing IT and digital banking. A critical aspect of the role is to act as the focal point for all regulatory inspections, coordinating with auditors and SBP teams, and preparing timely and accurate IT compliance reports. Furthermore, the manager will coordinate internal and external IT audits, ensuring compliance, operational, and cyber security audits, and monitoring the implementation of audit recommendations and closure of observations. The role also includes developing and reviewing IT-related policies (e.g., Information Security Policy, Change Management, Data Retention, etc.) and conducting awareness sessions, vendor performance reviews, and third-party contract monitoring.Qualifications and Experience
Applicants for the Manager, IT Governance & Compliance position must hold a minimum Bachelor's Degree from an HEC recognized University, with a specialization in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Cyber Security being highly advantageous. A minimum of five years of post-qualification experience is required, with at least two years specifically in a similar IT governance, compliance, or information security role. Candidates should possess demonstrable expertise in IT governance frameworks, regulatory compliance (especially SBP regulations), and experience with IT audits and policy development.Application Process
