About the Role

National Bank of Pakistan is seeking a qualified Head Of Legal (EVP / SEVP) based in Karachi. The selected candidate will report directly to the President & CEO. This senior role involves providing comprehensive legal advice, managing regulatory, financial, and litigation risks, and overseeing all legal and transaction management for the bank.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must hold a minimum LLB or equivalent qualification from a recognized university. Candidates are required to have at least 15 years of working experience in corporate law, including 7 years in a senior legal leadership role. Maximum age limit for applicants is 57 years on the last date of submission.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing legal advice and support to NBP on various issues and disputes.
• Efficiently manage associated legal, regulatory, and financial risks.
• Ensure legal and regulatory conformance in documentation and Bank policies.
• Deal with matters related to external counsels and manage legal costs.
• Attend and ensure resolution of all HR related litigation matters.
