Job Overview

The Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC) invites online applications for recruitment to the post of Deputy District Attorney (BPS-18) in the Law, Parliamentary Affairs & Criminal Prosecution Department, Government of Sindh. Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following criteria to be eligible for this position:

• Qualification: Law Graduate (at least 2nd Division) from a University recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan.
• Experience: At least seven (07) years of standing at the Bar.
• Age Limit: 28 to 35 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per government rules.

Vacancy Distribution

A total of 17 posts are available, distributed as follows:

• Open Merit (Male/Female): 15 posts (Rural: 09, Urban: 06)
• Women Quota: 02 posts (Rural: 01, Urban: 01)

Application Procedure (Common for SPSC)

Interested candidates must apply online through the Sindh Public Service Commission's official website. The detailed application process is as follows:

• Visit the SPSC website at www.spsc.gov.pk to access the online application form.
• Candidates are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 500/-. The fee challan can be downloaded from the SPSC website after filling the online application and should be deposited in any branch of the State Bank of Pakistan or National Bank of Pakistan under Head of Account 'C02101-Organ of State Exam Fee (SPSC Receipts)'.
• The original paid challan must be presented at the time of the interview or written test.
• Ensure that all information provided in the online application is accurate and complete.
• Candidates must possess the required qualifications, experience, and meet all eligibility criteria by the closing date of application.
• The closing date for submission of online applications is May 30, 2025, up to 5:00 PM (office hours).
• No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the written test or interview.
• If a candidate possesses an equivalent/alternative qualification to the one advertised, they must provide an equivalence certificate from HEC or the relevant competent authority and contact the SPSC office at least five days before the closing date.
• The Commission reserves the right to modify or cancel the advertisement or recruitment process.
