The Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC) invites online applications for the post of Legal Aid Officer (BPS-17) in the Human Rights and Related Laws Department, Government of Sindh. This role is dedicated to providing legal assistance and support in matters related to human rights.Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following criteria to be eligible for this position:- Qualification: (i) LLB (at least 2nd Division) from a University recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan; OR (ii) Barrister-at-Law or its equivalent from a recognized Foreign University.
- Experience: At least five (05) years of experience as an Advocate.
- Age Limit: 25 to 35 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per government rules.

Interested candidates must apply online through the Sindh Public Service Commission's official website. The detailed application process is as follows:- Visit the SPSC website at www.spsc.gov.pk to access the online application form.
- Candidates are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 500/-. The fee challan can be downloaded from the SPSC website after filling the online application and should be deposited in any branch of the State Bank of Pakistan or National Bank of Pakistan under Head of Account 'C02101-Organ of State Exam Fee (SPSC Receipts)'.
- The original paid challan must be presented at the time of the interview or written test.
- Ensure that all information provided in the online application is accurate and complete.
- Candidates must possess the required qualifications, experience, and meet all eligibility criteria by the closing date of application.
- The closing date for submission of online applications is May 30, 2025, up to 5:00 PM (office hours).
- No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the written test or interview.
- If a candidate possesses an equivalent/alternative qualification to the one advertised, they must provide an equivalence certificate from HEC or the relevant competent authority and contact the SPSC office at least five days before the closing date.
- The Commission reserves the right to modify or cancel the advertisement or recruitment process.
