Company Overview

Quaid-e-Azam Solar Power (Pvt.) Ltd (QA Solar), wholly owned by the Government of Punjab, has established the first-ever 100 MW Solar PV Plant in the province of Punjab. We require the services of professionally sound candidates to join our team.

Position Summary: General Manager Plant

We are looking for a seasoned General Manager Plant to oversee and manage the country's first 100 MW Solar Power Plant located at Lal Suhanra, Bahawalpur. This critical role involves a wide range of supervisory and administrative activities. The GM Plant will direct personnel in the daily performance of various operations and maintenance functions, ensuring alignment with company policies, goals, and objectives established by the Chief Executive Officer. Excellent motivational skills and a thorough understanding of Pakistan's renewable energy and power generation sector are essential.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an HEC Recognized University. A Master's degree in a relevant field will be preferred.
• Registration: Must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).
• Experience: A minimum of ten (10) years of post-qualification relevant experience in the power sector. This must include at least three (3) years in a senior management position within a public or private sector company. Experience in renewable energy is highly desirable.
• Skills: Familiarity with all applicable software related to plant operations and management. Excellent motivational and leadership skills.

Location and Age Limit

• Location: Site Office - Bahawalpur, Punjab.
• Maximum Age Limit: 55 years as of the date of the advertisement.

Compensation and Application Process
