Full Stack Developer

Job Overview

Applications are invited for the post of Full Stack Developer (PPS-8) within the Finance Department, Government of Gilgit-Baltistan, for the 'GB Automation and Digitization of Revenues' project. The role is based in Gilgit-Baltistan and offered on a three-year contract basis.

Key Responsibilities

The Full Stack Developer will be involved in the design, development, and maintenance of web applications for the project. Responsibilities include front-end (UI/UX) development, back-end development, API integration, database management, and potentially graphic design elements related to the applications.

Qualifications

Education: Master's Degree / BS in Computer Science or Information Technology (minimum 16 years of education) from an HEC recognized university/institution.
Certifications: Relevant certifications in web development or related technologies are desirable.

Experience

Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in full-stack web development, working in either the government or private sector.

Skills

• Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, frameworks like React, Angular, Vue).
• Strong back-end development skills (e.g., Node.js, Python, PHP, Java) and API development.
• Experience with database management systems (SQL/NoSQL).
• Understanding of UI/UX principles and potentially graphic design tools.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
