Workshop Supervisor (Electrical/Mechanical)

Job Overview

A government organization, Commandant 606 Regional Workshop EME, Gilgit, seeks a qualified and experienced individual for the permanent post of Workshop Supervisor (Electrical/Mechanical) in BPS-11. The position is based in Gilgit and is open on merit to all Pakistani citizens meeting the criteria. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing workshop operations in either electrical or mechanical domains.

Qualifications and Experience

• Educational Qualification: Matriculation with a Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Skills: Must possess excellent skills in the relevant field. Proficiency in software like Excel, MS Word, Inpage, and CorelDraw is required. The candidate should also have knowledge of generator operation and maintenance.

Age Limit

The age limit for this position is 18 to 35 years. Age relaxation will be applicable as per government rules. Specifically:

• 10 years relaxation for candidates under martyrs' package, postgraduates, residents of tribal areas, Azad Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Sindh, and Balochistan.
• 10 years relaxation for disabled persons.
• Up to 15 years relaxation for serving/retired military personnel (provided total age does not exceed 40 years).

Domicile

This position is open on a merit basis to all Pakistani citizens.
