Director National IT Skills Development

Role Overview

PSEB seeks a Director National IT Skills Development to lead initiatives focused on enhancing the IT skills landscape within Pakistan. This role involves overseeing academia linkage, skills training policies, workforce development programs, and digital education implementation to support the growth of the national IT sector. The position reports to the Chief Skills Development Officer.

Qualifications and Experience

Education: Minimum 16 years of education in ICT, Business Administration, Educational Leadership and Management, Marketing, Mass Communication, International Relations, Project Management, HR, Public Policy, Management Sciences, Finance, Engineering, or equivalent in related fields from a HEC recognized national or international university/institute.
Experience: A minimum of 12 years of progressive experience is required in academia, skills training policy, workforce development, and digital education implementation. This includes experience in teaching, developing curricula, and managing training programs.
Age Limit: 50 Years.

Key Responsibilities

The Director will manage and implement national IT skills development programs, develop and oversee training curricula, build partnerships with academic institutions, and contribute to policy formulation regarding skills training and workforce enhancement within Pakistan.
