Role Overview

Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB), the apex body of the Ministry of IT and Telecommunication, invites applications for the position of Chief Skills Development Officer. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role is pivotal in driving the development and capacity building of the IT and IT-enabled Services (ITeS) sector workforce in Pakistan. The objective is to ensure export growth and enhance the global brand of Pakistan's IT industry.

Qualifications and Experience

Education: Minimum 16 years of education in ICT, Business Administration, Educational Leadership and Management, Marketing, Mass Communication, International Relations, Project Management, HR, Public Policy, Management Sciences, Finance, Engineering, or equivalent in related fields from a national or international university/institute recognized by HEC.
Experience: A minimum of 15 years of progressive leadership experience is required in IT workforce development, higher education, skills training, government liaison, and strategic planning. Proven experience involves managing large teams, leading complex projects, and driving policy initiatives.
Age Limit: 55 Years.

Key Responsibilities

The Chief Skills Development Officer will be responsible for formulating and executing strategies for IT workforce development, overseeing skills training programs, liaising with government and educational institutions, and leading policy initiatives to enhance the national IT talent pool. The role requires strategic planning, team leadership, and project management skills.
