Job Overview

The Directorate General of Archaeology, Tourism, Archaeology and Museums Department, Government of the Punjab, invites applications for the position of Digital Documentation Specialist for the ADP project 'Capacity Building of Directorate General of Archaeology'. This is a temporary, project-based role in Lahore, offering an opportunity to work on significant heritage documentation projects.

Key Responsibilities

The Digital Documentation Specialist will be responsible for creating and managing digital records of archaeological sites and artifacts. This includes tasks such as 3D scanning, photogrammetry, GIS mapping, and managing digital archives. Experience with heritage sites or archaeological projects is highly desirable.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Digital Media, or a related field from an HEC Recognized University. Certification or advanced training in digital documentation, 3D scanning, or GIS is an advantage.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in digital documentation, including 3D scanning, photogrammetric, or GIS. Experience working with heritage sites or archaeological projects will be preferred.
  • Age Limit: 25-35 years.
  • Salary: Rs. 190,000/- per month (PPS & Salary, on lump-sum basis including all allowances, with annual increment according to government notification).

Conditions
