Deputy Regional Director (BPS-18)

Position Overview

AIOU is expanding its regional services and is hiring three Deputy Regional Directors (BPS-18) on a regular basis. The positions are designated for Punjab (01), Sindh (01), and Balochistan (01). The successful candidates will be responsible for managing the university's operations and activities within their assigned region, playing a key role in the delivery of distance education.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered for these positions:

• Qualification: A 2nd Class Master's Degree or equivalent from an HEC-recognized university.
• Experience: A minimum of 05 years of experience in BPS-17 or an equivalent position in a relevant field within a Government, Semi-Government, or Autonomous Body of repute. Experience in a distance or non-formal institution is preferred.
• Age Limit: The age limit for this position is 35+5 years.

2. Application Fee: A processing fee of Rs. 1500/- for BPS-18 posts is required. The fee challan can be downloaded from the AIOU Job Portal.

3. Submission Deadline: The last date for the submission of online applications is 16 June, 2025.

4. Verification: At the time of the written test/interview, candidates must bring their original certificates and the original paid fee challan for verification. Information claimed in the online form will be treated as final.

Applicants working in Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous bodies must apply through the proper channel and obtain an NOC.
