Controller Of Examinations

Position Overview

The University of Layyah is inviting applications from Punjab domiciled Pakistanis for the post of Controller of Examinations (BS-19, 01 post). The appointment will be on a contract basis for 03 years (in terms of section 24 of the UL Act 2022). The required age limit is 40 to 50 years.

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants need to satisfy one of the following criteria from an HEC-recognized institution:
Option 1:

• Ph.D. or equivalent qualification.
• Eight years post-qualification experience (BPS-17 & above or equivalent) in teaching or administrative or professional roles in a public or private institute/university or public sector organization.

Option 2:

• MS or M.Phil. or equivalent qualification.
• Ten years post-qualification experience (BPS-17 & above or equivalent) in teaching or administrative or professional roles in a public or private institute/university or public sector organization.

Option 3:

• Master's degree or BS (four years) (second division) or equivalent qualification.
• Twelve years' post-qualification experience (BPS-17 & above or equivalent) in teaching or administrative or professional roles in a public or private institute/university or public sector organization.

1. Candidates must submit their applications online through the official university website: www.ul.edu.pk.
2. The closing date for online applications is 26-04-2025.
3. After submitting the online application, candidates must send five hard copy sets of the application form, complete with attested copies of all credentials (transcripts, degrees, certificates, experience proof, CNIC, photographs) and the original Rs. 5000/- fee voucher, to the Registrar's Office, University of Layyah, Kachehry Road Layyah. This package must arrive on or before 29-04-2025.
4. Individuals currently serving in government or semi-government organizations must route their applications through the appropriate channels.
5. Late or incomplete applications will be rejected.

Recruitment Process and Conditions

Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview (TA/DA not applicable).
Age relaxation is permissible according to Government policy.
A screening test conducted by the Education Testing Council (ETC) of HEC, Islamabad, may be part of the selection process where required.
The University reserves the right to cancel/withhold the post or the entire advertisement without assigning any reason.
The decision of the University will be final and binding.
