The University of Layyah, a public sector university, is seeking qualified and experienced individuals to join its faculty as Associate Professors (BS-20) on a regular/permanent basis. Applications are invited from Pakistani Nationals.

Minimum Qualification & Experience (Associate Professor)

• Ph.D. in the relevant subject or equivalent qualification from an HEC recognized institute/university.
• Experience: Ten (10) years' teaching/research experience in an HEC recognized University or a postgraduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization; OR Five (05) years' post-Ph.D. teaching/research experience.
• Publications: Ten (10) research publications (with at least 4 publications in the last 5 years) in HEC recognized journals.
• Note: Specific requirements may apply for Engineering, Information Technology, and Computing disciplines as per HEC/PEC criteria. Candidate must not have third division in whole academic career, however, having degree of Ph.D. in the relevant field and has not more than one third division in the academic career, shall be eligible.

Application Process

1. Apply online through the University website: www.ul.edu.pk.
2. Last date for submission of online applications is April 26, 2025.
3. Submit five (05) sets of the Application Form for Associate Professor, along with attested copies of transcripts, degrees, certificates, experience certificates, CNIC, photographs, and the computer-generated original paid fee voucher.
4. Hard copies must reach the Office of the Registrar, University of Layyah on or before April 29, 2025.
5. Processing Fee: Rs. 5000/- (Non-refundable).
6. Where required, the screening test will be conducted through the Education Testing Council (ETC) of HEC, Islamabad.
7. Candidates applying for Computer Engineering/Veterinary disciplines must submit a copy of a valid PEC/PVMC registration certificate.
8. Candidates already employed in Government/Semi-Government departments or Autonomous bodies must apply through the proper channel by the due date.
9. Separate applications are required for open merit or reserve quota.
10. Incomplete applications or those received after the due date will not be entertained.
