Treasurer

Position Overview

The University of Layyah seeks applications for the position of Treasurer (BS-19, 01 post). This is a contractual appointment for 03 years (in terms of section 23 of the UL Act 2022). Applicants must be aged between 40 and 50 and domiciled in Punjab.

Minimum Qualifications

Candidates must possess one of the following sets of qualifications and experience from an HEC-recognized institution:
Option 1:

• Ph.D. in Finance or Commerce or Accounting or Auditing or Economics.
• Eight years post-qualification experience (BPS-17 & above or equivalent) in the relevant field.

Option 2:

• MS or M.Phil. in Finance or Commerce or Accounting or Auditing or Economics or equivalent qualification.
• Ten years post-qualification experience (BPS-17 & above or equivalent) in the relevant field.

Option 3:

• MBA in Finance or M.Com or ACCA or ACMA or M.Sc. or BS (four years) (second division) in Economics or equivalent qualification.
• Twelve years post-qualification experience (BPS-17 & above or equivalent) in the relevant field.

Application Procedure

1. Interested candidates must apply online via the university website www.ul.edu.pk.
2. The deadline for online application submission is 26-04-2025.
3. Following online submission, five sets of the application form, along with attested copies of all relevant documents (transcripts, degrees, certificates, experience letters, CNIC, recent photos) and the original paid fee voucher (Rs. 5000/-), must be submitted to the Registrar's office, University of Layyah, Kachehry Road Layyah by 29-04-2025.
4. Government/Semi-Government employees should apply through the proper channel.
5. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.

Important Notes

Only shortlisted applicants will be called for an interview (No TA/DA provided).
Government age relaxation policies apply.
A screening test via ETC (HEC), Islamabad may be conducted if needed.
The University holds the right to cancel or withhold the post/advertisement without stating a reason.
The University's decision is final.
