Job Overview

Applications are invited for 01 Post of Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at Fatima Jinnah Women University, Rawalpindi, on a Contract / Regular basis (BS-20). This position is for outstanding female scholars in Economics who are committed to excellence in teaching, research, and service within a women's university context.

Key Responsibilities

The appointee will teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Economics, supervise M.Phil/PhD theses, conduct and publish high-quality research, contribute to curriculum development, and actively participate in departmental and university governance. Mentoring students and contributing to a vibrant academic community are key aspects.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must possess a PhD in Economics from an HEC recognized university and meet all other HEC eligibility criteria for an Associate Professor, including a meritorious publication record and relevant teaching experience for a BS-20 position. Please refer to www.fjwu.edu.pk for specifics.
