Job Overview

Fatima Jinnah Women University, Rawalpindi, is inviting applications for 02 Posts of Associate Professor in the Department of Biotechnology on a Contract / Regular basis (BS-20). This is an opportunity for accomplished female scientists with a PhD in Biotechnology to join a dynamic academic environment focused on women's higher education.

Key Responsibilities

The role involves teaching advanced courses in Biotechnology, supervising M.Phil/PhD research, establishing an independent research program, securing research grants, publishing in peer-reviewed journals, contributing to curriculum development, and participating in departmental and university committees.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must satisfy HEC criteria for an Associate Professor, including a PhD in Biotechnology or a relevant field from an HEC recognized institution, a strong publication record, and significant teaching and research experience as per HEC guidelines for BS-20.
