Project and Position Overview

Applications are invited for the position of Research Associate under the Pakistan Science Foundation, Research Funded Project No. (PSF/CRP/P-UOG/CONS-239), titled 'Development of prototype platform for production of protease involved in eco-friendly leather processing in Pakistan'. This position is in the Department of Biochemistry & Biotechnology, Faculty of Science, University of Gujrat, Hafiz Hayat Campus. This is a temporary position for the duration of the project (02 Years) with a monthly stipend of Rs. 25,000/-.

Minimum Qualification Required

Candidates must possess an M.Phil in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology/Biotechnology. Preference will be given to candidates enrolled in a PhD program (Biochemistry and Molecular Biology/Biotechnology) at the Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology, UOG. The age limit for applicants is 22-30 years.

Job Description and Required Skills

The applicants must have working knowledge of molecular biology techniques such as RNA/DNA isolation and PCR, SDS-PAGE. Additionally, good hands-on training for bioinformatics tools is required. Applicants must also have good skills in basic scientific research tools.

Important Notes

The Position is purely temporary. The Principal Investigator will have the exclusive right to terminate the engagement due to unsatisfactory Performance, assigning any reason.
The positions are based at Hafiz Hayat Campus, University of Gujrat.
No TA/DA will be admissible for the interview.
No separate letter will be issued for the interview.
