Job Overview

The University of Gujrat, Hafiz Hayat Campus, is inviting applications from passionate and visionary Pakistani nationals for the post of Women Resident Medical Officer. This is a regular appointment in Basic Pay Scale 17, offering an opportunity to work in a dynamic academic environment and contribute to the health services of the university community. Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Women Resident Medical Officer position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Qualification: MBBS or an equivalent medical qualification from an Institute or a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
• Registration: Must be registered with the Pakistan Medical Council (PMC). A certificate of Full Permanent Medical Registration from PMC/PMDC issued on or before the closing date is mandatory.
• Age Limit: 23-40 years (Relaxable under University Rules).
• Number of Posts: 02
• Domicile: Punjab.

Application Process

Interested candidates are invited to apply for this position by following the procedure outlined below:
1. Application Form: Download the Job Application form along with the Advertisement and Employment Verification Proforma (EVP) from the University of Gujrat's official website: www.uog.edu.pk. Only application forms uploaded on the UOG website will be accepted.
2. Submission Deadline: Applications must reach the Human Resource Office, Admin Block, 1st Floor, Room # 104, Hafiz Hayat Campus, University of Gujrat by 03 July, 2025.
3. Required Documents: Applicants must submit two (02) complete sets of their application. Each set must contain:

• UOG Application Form (duly filled)
• Attested copies of Degrees
• Attested copies of both sides of Result Cards/Transcripts/Detail Marks Certificates (DMC). Only verified Degrees/Transcripts from HEC/Boards, etc., will be entertained.
• Experience Certificates (if any), duly verified/attested and signed/stamped by the respective Appointing Authority as per the 'Employment Verification Proforma' (appended to the Job Application Form).
• NOC (No Objection Certificate), if applicable (especially for applicants working in Government, Semi-Government, and Autonomous Bodies, who must apply through proper channel).
• Domicile Certificate
• CNIC (Computerized National Identity Card)
• Recent Passport-size photographs.

Incomplete applications or those with fewer sets than required will be rejected.
4. Application Fee: It is mandatory to deposit a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 800/- (for BPS-17) in any Branch of the Bank of Punjab (BOP). The fee must be deposited using the prescribed challan form generated online via the link: https://ch.uog.edu.pk/MISC/OnlineHRCustomChallan. The original bank deposit receipt must be attached to the hard copy of the application form.
5. Important Notes:

• Clearly write the name of the post applied for on the top right side of the envelope.
• Applicants with foreign degrees/diplomas/certificates must attach an HEC/IBCC equivalence certificate.
• The University will shortlist applicants according to its procedure and will inform only the shortlisted candidates for test (if conducted), interview, and recommendation.
• No TA/DA will be admissible for test/interview.
• The University reserves the right not to fill any post or withhold the appointment against any advertised post without assigning any reason.
• Quota against minorities, disabled and women shall be observed as per Govt. rules, subject to maturity and availability of the post.
