The University of Turbat invites applications for the statutory position of Registrar, classified at BPS-20. This is a crucial senior administrative role responsible for managing the academic and administrative affairs of the university. The appointment is for a fixed term of 4 years on a contractual basis, which is non-extendable. The Registrar serves as the chief administrative officer and custodian of university records, playing a vital role in policy implementation and institutional governance.Eligibility Criteria for Registrar
Candidates applying for the Registrar job must meet the following qualifications and experience requirements:- Education: A First Class Master or equivalent degree (16 years of education) from a Higher Education Commission (HEC) recognized University.
- Experience: Applicants must have either 17 years of relevant administrative experience on a position of grade 17 or above in a public sector University, Government Department, or Organization. Alternatively, candidates with 14 years of teaching or relevant administrative experience in a public sector University, Government Department, or Organization, holding a PhD degree from an HEC-recognized University, are also eligible.
Additional Requirements and Application Method
Applicants from all over Pakistan are eligible to apply. Application forms can be downloaded from the university’s official website, www.uot.edu.pk. A non-refundable application processing fee of Rs 5000/- must be deposited into UoT A/C No. 10407900525001 at any HBL main branch in Turbat, or submitted as a bank draft payable to the Registrar, University of Turbat. Candidates are required to submit two sets of applications in the form of dossiers, including a detailed CV, five passport-size photographs, attested copies of all academic credentials, CNIC, and local/domicile certificates. Government, Semi-Government, and Autonomous Department employees must apply through the proper channel with a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their parent department by the due date. The applications can be delivered personally or sent by post to the Establishment Section of the University of Turbat during working hours. Please note that incomplete applications or those received after the deadline will not be accepted. No TA/DA will be admissible for tests or interviews.
