Job Summary: Controller of Examination (BPS-20)

The University of Turbat is currently accepting applications for the statutory position of Controller of Examination, at the BPS-20 pay scale. This is a critical leadership role responsible for the planning, execution, and management of all university examinations. The appointment is for a non-extendable contractual period of 4 years. The Controller of Examination ensures the fairness, transparency, and timely conduct of examinations, playing a crucial role in maintaining the academic integrity of the institution.

Eligibility Criteria for Controller of Examination

Candidates interested in the Controller of Examination job must fulfill the following qualification and experience criteria:

• Education: A First Class Master equivalent degree (16 years' education) from a Higher Education Commission (HEC) recognized University.
• Experience: Applicants must have either 17 years of relevant experience on a position of grade 17 or above in a public sector university, government department, or organization, preferably from a University or Educational Institute. Alternatively, candidates with 14 years of relevant experience on a position of grade 17 or above in a public sector university, government department, or organization, preferably from a University or Educational Institute, who also hold a PhD degree from an HEC-recognized University, are eligible.

The age limit for this position is between 45 and 65 years, seeking seasoned professionals with proven capabilities in managing large-scale academic processes.

Additional Requirements and Application Method

Candidates from all over Pakistan are eligible to apply for this position. The application form is available for download on the university's website, www.uot.edu.pk. A non-refundable application processing fee of Rs 5000/- must be deposited into the University of Turbat Account No. 10407900525001 at any HBL main branch in Turbat, or submitted via a bank draft made out to the Registrar, University of Turbat. Applicants are required to submit two complete sets of applications, structured as dossiers, including a detailed CV, five passport-size photographs, attested copies of all academic credentials, CNIC, and a local/domicile certificate. For candidates currently employed in Government, Semi-Government, or Autonomous Departments/Organizations, it is mandatory to apply through the proper channel, ensuring a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their parent department is submitted by the due date. Applications can be submitted in person or by post to the Establishment Section of the University of Turbat during official working hours. Please note that incomplete applications or those received after the deadline will not be considered. No TA/DA will be provided for tests or interviews. The Competent Authority/Vice Chancellor reserves the right to cancel any or all positions without providing a reason.
