The University of Turbat is looking for a dedicated and experienced individual to fill the statutory position of Treasurer, also known as Director Finance, at BPS-20. This is a pivotal role with a 4-year contractual tenure, which is non-extendable. The Treasurer is responsible for overseeing all financial operations, including budgeting, accounting, financial planning, and ensuring fiscal accountability of the university. This position requires a strong leader who can strategically manage the institution's financial resources effectively.Eligibility Criteria for Treasurer/Director Finance
Prospective candidates for the Treasurer/Director Finance job must meet the following educational and professional experience standards:- Education: A First Class Chartered Accountant qualification, or a First Class MBA in Finance, or a First Class M.Com, or an equivalent degree from an HEC-recognized University.
- Experience: Applicants should possess either 17 years of experience in the field of Finance and Accounting on a position of grade 17 or above in a public sector University, Government Department, or Organization, with a preference for experience from a University or Educational Institute. Alternatively, candidates with 14 years of experience in the field of Finance and Accounting on a position of grade 17 or above in a public sector University, Government Department, or Organization, preferably from a University or Educational Institute, who also hold a relevant PhD degree from an HEC-recognized University, are eligible.

Candidates from across Pakistan are welcome to apply. Application forms are available on the university's website, www.uot.edu.pk. A non-refundable application fee of Rs 5000/- is required, payable into UoT A/C No. 10407900525001 at any HBL main branch in Turbat, or via a bank draft made out to the Registrar, University of Turbat. Two complete sets of applications, presented as dossiers, must be submitted. Each set should include a detailed CV, five passport-size photographs, attested copies of all academic credentials, CNIC, and a local/domicile certificate. Applicants currently employed in Government, Semi-Government, or Autonomous Departments/Organizations must submit their applications through the proper channel, accompanied by a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their respective department, ensuring it reaches by the due date. Applications can be delivered in person or sent by post to the Establishment Section of the University of Turbat during official working hours. Incomplete applications or those received after the specified deadline will not be entertained. No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in tests or interviews.
