About the Role

The Project Director (PPS 10) will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and oversight for the design, implementation, and overall management of key development projects. This includes ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards, aligning with the department's objectives to foster women's entrepreneurship and economic empowerment. The role demands a visionary leader capable of driving complex initiatives from conception to successful completion.

Qualifications

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree (16 years of education) from an HEC-recognized university. Preferred fields of study include Business Studies, Management Sciences, or Social Sciences, demonstrating a strong academic foundation relevant to project leadership and development.

Experience

A minimum of 8 years of demonstrated post-qualification experience is required. This experience should be in the design, implementation, and management of public sector projects, which is highly desirable. Candidates with a proven track record in leading large-scale projects and navigating government frameworks will be given preference.

Required Skills

The ideal candidate will possess a sound knowledge of business regulations and entrepreneurship ecosystems, coupled with the ability to create a conducive business-enabling environment. Proven capability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage complex projects within budget and timeline is essential. Strategic thinking, problem-solving, and excellent communication skills are vital for success in this role.
