Program Officer (Procurement)

Organizational Context

The Government of Pakistan, through the Punjab Municipal Development Fund Company (PMDFC), is implementing the Punjab Cities Program (PCP) with support from the International Development Association (IDA). The program aims to enhance the performance of urban local governments in urban management and service delivery. PMDFC is looking for professionals to support this initiative.

Position Overview

The Program Officer (Procurement) will be based in Lahore and will be responsible for managing procurement activities related to works, goods, and services under the Punjab Cities Program. This is a critical role ensuring transparency and efficiency in procurement processes.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Qualification:
16 years of education or higher degree in Engineering/ Commerce/ Business / Management studies.

Experience:
Minimum 08 years post-qualification experience for 16 years education or 05 years for at least 17 years education related to procurement of works, goods and services. Must have thorough understanding of PPRA rules and World Bank procurement guidelines and experience in its applications.

Age Limit:
Maximum age limit is 55 years.
