University of Sahiwal is inviting applications from qualified Pakistani/AJK Nationals for the position of Project Director (PPS-09). This role is offered on a contract basis for an initial period of 1 year, extendable, under the HEC Funded project titled 'Development of University of Sahiwal'. The position requires leadership in project planning, execution, and management within a university setting.Qualifications
Candidates must possess a minimum 2nd Class Bachelor's Degree/Masters (equivalent to 16 years of education) OR M.Sc/MS/M.Phil (equivalent to 18 years of education). The degree should be in the fields of Civil Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or an equivalent qualification from an HEC / PEC recognized (in case of Engineering degree) university/institution.Experience
For Bachelor's/Master's Degree holders: A minimum of 12 years of post-qualification relevant experience in a reputable Public or Private organization is required. This must include at least 07 years of hands-on experience in project design, execution/management, project documentation, commodity and materials procurement, consultant & contractor supervision, and the preparation of periodic and other reports.For M.Sc/MS/M.Phil Degree holders: A minimum of 10 years of post-qualification relevant experience is needed, with at least 05 years in the specific areas mentioned above.
Additionally, the candidate should be well-versed in PEC regulations, PPRA rules, Planning Commission procedures, Finance, Project Management principles, and other relevant Government rules and procedures prescribed for the implementation of development projects.
Age Limit
The age limit for applicants is between 35 and 60 years. Age relaxation may be considered based on experience and applicable rules.Application Procedure
1. Download the application form from the University website: www.uosahiwal.edu.pk.2. Submit one complete set of documents including the application form, copies of degrees, result cards, transcripts, certificates, experience certificates (mandatory support from employers), and a recent passport-size photograph fixed on the form.
3. Applications must be accompanied by a non-refundable bank draft/postal order or Bank Challan deposit slip of Rs. 2,000/- in favour of 'University of Sahiwal'. Fees can be deposited via Bank Challan into University of Sahiwal's HBL Account No. 1672-79012994-52 (Farid Town Branch, Sahiwal).
4. Candidates currently employed in Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous bodies must apply through the proper channel. An advance copy may be sent, but the NOC must reach the Registrar before the test/interview.
5. Submit applications to the office of the 'Deputy Registrar, University of Sahiwal' by hand or courier.
6. The last date for application submission is 09 May, 2025 (before 4:00 PM).
7. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for a test/interview.
8. Incomplete applications or those received after the deadline will not be entertained.
9. A 3% quota is reserved for disabled persons, subject to submission of a disability certificate from the relevant Provincial Council/Social Welfare Department.
