Job Overview

A position for a Procurement Specialist is available at Pakistan Railways, Headquarters Office, Lahore. This is a contract-based role for an initial period of one year, with the possibility of extension based on satisfactory performance. The role is integral to the Project Director/Replacement of AC Plants.

Key Responsibilities

The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for managing procurement activities related to the project. This includes handling processes related to PSDP Projects and utilizing the IPAS System Portal of the Planning Commission. The candidate will ensure compliance and efficiency in all procurement tasks.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must be Graduates from a recognized university. A minimum of five (05) years of work experience in a relevant field is required. Specific experience with PSDP Projects and familiarity with the IPAS System Portal of the Planning Commission is essential. Only those experience(s) will be consider which are obtained after the required qualification.

Age Limit

The maximum age for applicants is 40 years. This limit is inclusive of any age relaxation as per the general terms (point iv).

Salary and Benefits

The selected candidate will receive a salary according to Project Pay Scale (PPS-06), equivalent to BS-16, as per the standard pay package issued by the Finance Division.
