The Fisheries Department, Punjab, is inviting applications for the position of Manager Procurements (PPS-10) for its critical development project, 'Aquaculture Shrimp Farming in Punjab (2024-25 to 2027-26)'. Key Responsibilities & Qualifications

As the Manager Procurements (PPS-10), you will be tasked with developing and implementing procurement strategies, managing tender processes, negotiating contracts with vendors, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. Your responsibilities will also include vendor management, risk assessment in procurement, and maintaining accurate records of all procurement transactions, ensuring transparency and accountability.

Candidates for this Manager Procurements job in Lahore must possess a Master's degree or 16 years of education in MBA/MS Procurement, Logistic, or Supply Chain Management from an HEC-recognized university. Candidates holding procurement-related certifications such as Member Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (MCIPS) from CIPS, UK, or Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) from ISM, USA, or Certified Supply Chain Professional (PMP) will be preferred. A minimum of 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience in the procurement of goods, works, or consulting services is required. The maximum age limit for applicants is 45 years. An initial salary of Rs. 600,000 per month will be offered, with annual increments based on performance.

The hard copy application must reach the office of the Director General, Fisheries Department, 9-A Bahawalpur Road, Chauburji, Lahore, by October 10, 2025 (Tuesday) within office hours. Applicants must submit both online and hard copies, otherwise, their application will be considered incomplete. For males, a 5-year age relaxation is applicable, and for females, an 8-year age relaxation is applicable as per Government of Punjab S&GAD Notification No. SORl(S&GAD)9-36/81 dated 08-08-2016. In-service candidates must apply through the proper channel and submit an NOC from their parent departments. Each post requires a separate application. Incomplete or late applications will not be accepted. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for tests/interviews via email or contact number, with no TA/DA admissible. The selection committee's decision will be final, and the competent authority reserves the right to cancel recruitment at any time without prior notice. Selected candidates will have no claim for permanent appointment.
