Port Qasim Authority (PQA), Karachi, is appointing suitable candidates on a two-year contract basis (extendable).

Position Details

Pilot / Tug Commander (BPS-19) is responsible for safely piloting vessels within port limits and commanding tugboats for vessel assistance.

Qualifications and Experience

• Master Mariner (Foreign-going Ships) duly endorsed under STCW Convention-1995.
• At least two (02) years command experience on Board / Sea-going vessels.

Domicile and Age Limit

• Domicile Quota: Punjab = 2, KPK = 1, Merit = 1, GB/FATA = 1
• Maximum Age Limit: 45 Years (Age relaxation applicable)
