Superintendent Engineer (Bulk Carrier)

Position Overview

As Pakistan's National Flag Carrier, the Pakistan National Shipping Corporation (PNSC) is dedicated to maintaining a modern and efficient fleet. PNSC requires a result-oriented Superintendent Engineer to manage its bulk carrier vessels. This role is critical for ensuring the technical readiness and operational excellence of the general cargo fleet, demanding a professional with a strong background in marine engineering and ship management.

Required Qualifications & Experience

The ideal candidate for the Superintendent Engineer (Bulk Carrier) role must possess:

• A Certificate of Competency Class 1 (Motor).
• 1-2 years of sailing experience as a Chief Engineer on general cargo ships, with this experience gained within the last 5 years.
• Preference will be given to candidates who have 1-2 years of shore-based experience as a Superintendent Engineer.

Contract and Remuneration

The employment terms for this position are as follows:

• The appointment is on a contract basis for an initial term of two years, with the possibility of extension based on performance and mutual agreement.
• An attractive market-based remuneration package will be offered, reflective of the candidate's skills and experience.
