Company Overview

Reko Diq Mining Company, operated by Barrick and joint venture partners, is developing a major copper-gold mine in Balochistan and seeking skilled professionals.

Position Summary

Based at the Reko Diq Site in Balochistan within the Administration department, the Personal Assistant will provide high-level administrative support to the General Manager. This includes managing schedules, coordinating travel, preparing documents, handling confidential information, and representing the GM's office professionally.

Key Qualifications and Experience

  • Qualification: Bachelor's degree in business administration, Management, or a related field is preferred. High proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required.
  • Experience: 4-5 years of experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, or in a similar role. Previous experience in a mining or industrial site environment is an advantage. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Requirements: Adaptable to working in remote, rugged site conditions with the ability to work flexible and extended hours as needed. Occasional travel to different locations or sites may be required. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are essential. Demonstrates high integrity, professionalism, and a proactive, team-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

Manage the General Manager's calendar, meetings, and travel logistics. Prepare briefing materials, reports, and presentations. Maintain filing systems and track action items and deadlines. Assist with expense claims, budget tracking, and other support administrative tasks. Act as liaison with stakeholders, organize events, and handle sensitive information confidentially. Represent the GM's office professionally at all times.
