Reko Diq Mining Company, operated by Barrick and a joint venture with the Government of Balochistan and the Government of Pakistan, is recruiting a team of high caliber individuals for the development of its outstanding, world-class mining project-the Reko Diq copper-gold mine in Balochistan.

Position Details

Department: Construction & Maintenance
Location: Reko Diq Mine Site - Balochistan

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum Scaffolding Inspector Diploma or Graduate with major in any discipline. Preferably International certifications like IIRSM, UKQAM, OSHAC, and Working at Heights certification are preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as Scaffold Inspector at field level, supervising of assembling and dismantling of scaffoldings OR Minimum 7 years of experience as scaffolder.

Requirements and Responsibilities

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge and understanding of relevant regulations, standards, and codes of practice.
• They should possess excellent relationship-building, influencing, and negotiation skills.
• Strong organizational and planning abilities are required, along with basic computer skills.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure scaffolding on construction projects complies with standards, laws, and RDMC procedures.
• Inspect scaffolds for safety, structural integrity, and compliance, rejecting damaged or substandard materials.
• Advise on specialized scaffolds, calculate counterweights for heavy-duty suspended scaffolding, and guide safe work practices.
• Conduct daily inspections, final checks, and audits to ensure scaffold safety and contractor compliance.
