Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for the Lecturer position must meet the Higher Education Commission (HEC) minimum eligibility criteria. This typically requires an MS/M.Phil. (or equivalent) degree in the relevant discipline from an HEC-recognized university. While extensive prior experience may not be mandatory, a strong academic record, demonstrated potential for effective teaching, and an eagerness for scholarly engagement are key attributes sought by the university. Relevant professional certifications or additional specialized training will be considered a distinct advantage, showcasing a commitment to continuous professional development. Recognition by relevant professional bodies such as PMDC/PMC, PEC, PCP, NBEAC, NACTE, NTC, PNC, or PBC where applicable, is also considered.
