Position Overview

The Deputy General Manager/Manager (P&RB) will be responsible for the comprehensive administration and management of pensions and medical benefits for PIACL pensioners and their eligible dependents. This critical role ensures the transparent, efficient, and compliant delivery of benefits to beneficiaries.

Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include overseeing pension disbursement processes, which involve coordinating with scheduled banks in line with SBP Pension Bank Accounts Regulations. The role also involves managing medical services provided through group health insurance arrangements, ensuring timely and appropriate healthcare access for beneficiaries. The incumbent will ensure that all processes are transparent, compliant with regulatory frameworks, and delivered efficiently to all eligible beneficiaries.

Educational Requirements

For the DGM role, a Chartered Accountant (CA), ACCA, CPA, CFA, CMA, MBA/MPA/Master's degree in Finance, HR, or a related discipline from an HEC-recognized institution is required. For the Manager role, a Chartered Accountant (CA), ACCA, CPA, CFA, CMA, or a Bachelor's degree with 16 years of education in Finance, HR, Public Administration, or a related discipline from an HEC-recognized institution is required. Professional certifications in Pension/Employee Benefits Management, Insurance, or Risk Management are preferred for both roles.

Experience Requirements

For the DGM role, a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience is required, with at least 5 years in a senior management role, preferably in pensions, employee benefits, insurance, or banking. For the Manager role, a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience in pension administration, medical benefits, or large-scale HR operations is required. This tiered experience requirement caters to both senior and mid-level professionals.
