Job Overview

The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, through the Local Government, Elections & Rural Development Department, is seeking a Director Reforms for the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Cities Improvement Project (KPCIP) in Peshawar. This is a contract-based position for a donor-assisted project, initially for one year and extendable based on performance.

Qualifications and Experience

• Number of Positions: 01
• Qualification: Preferably Master's in Development studies / Economics / Finance / Administration (Business / Public) / Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Experience: 12 years relevant experience in institutional development / capacity building and reforms of local government, water and sanitation or similar public utility companies. Preference will be given to those who possess relevant experience with Donors (ADB and WB) or their funded projects and overseas relevant experience / relevant experience with international organization and Government Institutions.

General Terms & Conditions:

• All positions are project-based and therefore should not be considered as regular or permanent.
• Candidates serving in government departments / semi-government bodies should submit their applications through proper channel.

• After scrutiny of documents of the intending candidates, only eligible candidates fulfilling the criteria will be shortlisted for interviews. Shortlisting will be done strictly in accordance with the lay down policies.

• Conditional applications or those received after the deadline shall not be entertained.
• No TA/DA shall be admissible for interviews.

• Candidates giving fake documents or misleading information will result in cancellation of the application.
